Travel Love: Siem Reap, Cambodia

A three-day excursion has given me a chance to explore the Khmer empire through its many temples, exciting food and fascinating sights. These photos do not do justice, i think, to the beauty of Siem Reap, one has to be there to truly appreciate it.

While many flock to see one of UNESCO’s heritage sites, Siem Reap, a sleepy yet beautiful town is full to the brim with exotic flavors, fresh produce and lots of sights & sounds that assault your senses. More than just “the Great Gate to Angkor”, Siem Reap is filled with friendly people, a lovely fusion of local & international tastes and a cuisine that embraces its traditions.
