Blog: February Recap

Where there is love there is life.” -Indira Gandhi

This month’s been so full of activity it’s taking me a breath or two to compose myself and recap. This truly has been a month of love!

A few weeks ago, my friend Zsa and I threw a baby shower for a common friend. This month we welcomed her lovely bundle of joy—welcome to the world, Coco!

Isn’t she adorable? I visited my friend Ella a few hours after she gave birth and met the beautiful baby she has brought into the world. I am so excited for her and her hubby! Coco is just as beautiful as her mommy 🙂

It is the V month after all. This month the hubby and i celebrated our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. It’s pretty sweet. Thank you love for the wonderful evening!  I truly enjoyed the amazing food at Phat Wong (kudos, Chef Marge!) and so thoroughly enjoyed the lovely bouquet you gave me (yes, i’m  happy to receive it and  still surprised to get one!)

It’s these milestones that you truly get to appreciate and aspire to make the day all the more special. Of course, there’s nothing sweeter than time spent with the one you love! 🙂

This month was also a month of (re-)connections. A flurry of events enabled us to meet and catch-up with good friends we haven’t seen in a while, giving everybody lots of opportunity to get together, chat and spend quality time with each other. A couple of friends flew in for vacation, a friend’s place celebrated its anniversary, a friend exhibited new works and yes, we even had a few impromptu dinners and lunch dates!

My friend Aman's works are on display now at the Elements Gallery in Rockwell, come see!

This month is also pretty special since it’s the birthday month of my good friend Haydee. She and i have been friends since high school and it’s always awesome to chill out with her. With work, family life and other life nuances in the way, we don’t get to hang out as much as we did before, but every time we do it’s like not a day passed since we last saw each other.

To celebrate her day, we had dinner and coffee. As usual, we were chatting up a storm and bickering like high school kids. hehehe. Love it! Love you dear! 🙂

With all these things happening, i’m very much feeling the love. I wonder what March has in store? 🙂
