Ang INK turns 20!

Ang Mga Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang I.N.K.) is a group of individuals bonded with the passion for art and love for illustrating children’s books. Ang INK, as it is fondly called, opened their exhibit celebrating a milestone, their 20th year. The exhibit, held at the Ayala Museum lobby gallery, showcases the exciting and dynamic published works of its various members, from its pioneer members to its latest crop of talent. Also on display are some unpublished works which show the artistry and vision of its talent pool. Last night, we celebrated its opening. Here are just some of the awesome work as well as the flurry of excitement and fun that came out of the opening!

I am so happy to have been part of this group. I learned a lot from joining and being part of its activities, made good friendships and honed my skill as an artist and illustrator. Each activity is truly a learning experience, in both craft and life. Last night was both a homecoming as well as a fun gathering for many of us INKies, as we admire the beauty and fun artistry fellow INKies have shown and produced, as well as enjoy the lively conversation and company once again of fellow alumni and members alike. I am truly proud and happy that the organization is celebrating such a wonderful milestone, and hope that it will flourish for many years to come! 🙂

Pls. do check out the exhibit which runs until Jan 15 2012. Along with the exhibit are several activities (usually on the weekends) that you and your kids will surely enjoy. Pls check out the Ayala Museum website for more details, as well as the INK website for more info about the exhibit and its members.
