“We all have evil within us. Even small children are evil towards each other,” declares Danish-Norwegian artist Nina Maria Kleivan for her latest exhibit, Potency.
Her controversial photo exhibit’s subject is no other than her daughter Faustina, dressed as some of history’s most notorious figures, including Saddam Hussein, Stalin and Hitler. Of Danish and Norwegian descent, Kleivan explores several subjects, such as the meaning of evil, the responsibility of parents in molding a child’s life as well as the consequences of actions.
