Lovin’ these shark pants, spied and eyed by The Sartorialist in the streets of Sydney.

Baby Rib One Shoulder Dress by American Apparel. Lovin’ the pink tones on this one!

This reminds me so much of ChungKing Express.

See this and more at Streetpeeper.

Amazing stuff, indeed! Are Mokkelbost is the guy behind b-o-r-g.org, a visual and musical artist whose works surpass that of the photoshop genre. Painstakingly he did these series of “collages” entitled ION, which blows my mind on how intricate and detailed his artworks are.

Thanks to You Might Like This for the link.

Please pray for the victims of the recent Air France incident, may they find peace and their souls be guided.

“Heaven Remix” video i watched from We Love You So’s blog — i love the dream-like sounds, they make the moves so fluid and graceful!

No Impact Man’s blog led me to rethinking and re-anaylzing my Go Green Mantra all the more. No Impact Man, or Colin Beavan to those close to him, is a blogger who started the year long experiment of No Impact Living — by reducing, recycling and reusing as much as he and his family can, he is one determined fellow to teach by example. And I am truly inspired.

His Top 10 Eco Lifestyle Changes is a wonderful outline of ten simple things we can easily do to become catalysts in our own communities.

I must further my efforts by doing more of the things he has on his list. :-) Bringing a bag along with me has been very helpful, and yes, it’s become a part of my everyday stuff! With the heat these days, it’s hard to commit to observing an eco-sabbath, but an hour or two won’t hurt! Everyday can indeed be an Earth Hour day. Anybody up for some gardening?

It is very inspiring indeed. The world is filled with too much angst and jaded perspective most of the times, it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle they just stop and complain. I am happy that there are people in the world who are truly taking the step towards change, not by relying on just the govt and/or officers, but by starting it themselves. As Colin says:

Believe with all your heart that how you live your life makes a difference to all of us. We are all interconnected. We make a difference to each other on many different levels. Every step towards living a conscious life where we consider the consequences of our actions provides support to everyone else–whether you know it or not–who is trying to do the same thing. We are the masters of our destinies. Let’s act as though it is so.

This weekend, what eco-lifestyle will you change? :-)

I’m all excited to see the near-completion of my friends’ venture — a few days back we got to check out the fab new streetwear boutique Trilogy boutique + Canteen along Rada st. which features some seriously ill stuff. A venture of the Herrera siblings and DIM MAK’s Steve Aoki, the place was packed as the crowd scanned through the wicked array of sneakers, accessories and shirts. Canteen, the hip and trendy food bar will be up and running come June — lookin’ forward to some seriously yummy eats! I am seriously lovin’ the interiors, and the green packs a mighty punch to the eyes. Hell yeah!

Here’s a few pics from the launch:
